CrossFit Hamptons – CrossFit
Handstand Walk (Practice)
Use this time to practice your progressions. Work on Bear Crawl, Handstands, & Handstand Walks.
Bells and Whistles (AMRAP – Rounds and Reps)
400/350 Meter Row
20 Kettlebell Swings (53/35)
100′ Bear Crawl
Starting out each round on the rower, we can look to move at a moderate pace that allows athletes to go ideally unbroken on the kettlebell swings. On the bear crawls, we can rip the bandaid off and aim to get these done quickly.
You may notice that the bear crawl is similar to the handstand walk and was the sub used during this past year’s open for handstand walks. If those with goals of competing would like to handstand walk, this is a good day to do so. 50 feet, 25 feet, or one minute of practice could all be appropriate depending on current skill level.
